About Us

There is so much stress involved in being admitted or having a loved one in hospital.

In the past many families have found the strain exacerbated by the difficulty in arranging food for their loved ones who are unable to eat the meals provided by the NHS for various reasons such as special dietary requirements which the hospitals do not cater for, lack of variety, repetitive and often heavy meals as well as an overall lack of kosher breakfast provision.

Make a difference

Established in 2020 and having delivered over 12,000 meals since, Kosher Care feels grateful to have the merit to provide 2 fresh Kosher meals daily, easing the burden of patients and their families. Meals are provided to ANYONE that finds themselves in ANY hospital across Manchester and are in need of Kosher food.

In addition to the patient themselves, meals are also provided to companions such as carers, visitors and families sitting with ill relatives (even when the patient is R”L no longer able to eat).

Make a difference

Kosher Care also provides meals for patients on Psychiatric wards. Without this service, some of these patients would be opting for a non-kosher menu.

Since our inception we have provided many meals for people who are not actually living in Manchester but whom have unfortunately landed in hospital whilst visiting or have chosen to undergo procedures and treatments in specialist hospitals in the North West.
